En el marco del Día de la Educadora -que se conmemora el 21 de abril- el Gobierno Municipal de San Juan del Río, reconoció la labor y esfuerzo de las docentes, y agradeció su valioso trabajo a favor de la niñez sanjuanense.
En el evento, en donde la presidenta municipal de San Juan del Río asistió como invitada de honor, se destacó por parte del secretario general de la Sección 24 del Sindicato Nacional de Trabajadores de la Educación (SNTE), Francisco Ramírez Labra, que la primera infancia es determinante para encaminar a las y los niños sanjuanenses a tener un mejor futuro, por lo cual las educadoras juegan un papel fundamental en ese proceso.
De igual forma, durante la celebración se entregaron 38 reconocimientos a educadoras que cumplieron 50, 40, 35, 30, 25 y 20 años de trayectoria educativa.
En representación de las galardonadas, la maestra Ermita García Marín, con 40 años de servicio, expresó que la aportación de las figuras educativas son fundamentales para el desarrollo de infancias sanas.
