Con la finalidad de brindar atención a las personas que se encuentran en situación de vulnerabilidad, así como Cuidar sus derechos a la alimentación y a la salud, el presidente municipal de San Juan del Río, Roberto Cabrera Valencia, en equipo con la secretaria de Desarrollo Social del estado de Querétaro, Diana Pérez Mejía, entregaron apoyos alimentarios en la comunidad de Santa Rosa Xajay.
Durante el evento, realizado en el centro de la mencionada localidad, se entregaron dos apoyos a cada beneficiaria y beneficiario, por lo que, en total, señaló la secretaria de Desarrollo Social estatal, se dieron cerca de 500 apoyos alimentarios en dicha comunidad. El presidente municipal sanjuanense destacó que la participación ciudadana y el trabajo en equipo son fundamentales para llevar Adelante a San Juan.
“Saber que tenemos una ayuda que ustedes se han ganado a pulso y que hoy tiene que ver con un programa que es la obra social. La obra social se hace así, con programas alimentarios. La obra social se hace con esa atención a la familia. Todos en la familia buscamos siempre salud, educación, estar bien y la salud viene desde la alimentación y desde la educación”, puntualizó Roberto Cabrera.
