El municipio de San Juan del Río es un buen lugar para vivir, por lo que es necesario que las y los habitantes lo defiendan y cuiden de él a través de los valores, dijo el presidente municipal, Roberto Cabrera Valencia, quien convocó a la sociedad sanjuanense a construir una demarcación de paz, tranquilidad y armonía.
Durante la cuarta fecha de cinco programadas para la entrega de apoyos del “Programa Becas Adelante”, Roberto Cabrera invitó a las madres y padres de familia a apoyar a sus hijos para que continúen con sus estudios, que hagan deporte y convivan en ambientes sanos, ya que esto les permitirá acceder a una mejor calidad de vida.
“Vamos a trabajar mucho en cuidar a San Juan del Río. ¿Cómo? Haciendo familia, cuidándonos nosotros, haciendo denuncias, quejas, pero sobre todo participando. Vamos por el camino de la educación. En un municipio, un estado, un país que le invierte verdaderamente a la educación, ya me han dicho ustedes, mamás, niños, jovencitos, me han dicho ‘yo no tenía beca, cuando tuve la beca mejoré mis calificaciones’. Un aplauso a nuestros estudiantes que están sacando mejores calificaciones”, mencionó Cabrera Valencia.
La entrega de apoyos del “Programa Becas Adelante” -en cuyas jornadas de este martes estuvieron presentes las y los regidores Sandra Camacho Rojo, Arturo Calvario Ramírez, Luz Virginia Cortés Osornio y José Luis Cornejo Olivares; así como el jefe de Gabinete, Martín Hernández Balderas; las secretarias y el secretario de Desarrollo Social, de Gobierno, de Servicios Públicos Municipales, Judith Ortiz Monroy, Bibiana Rodríguez Montes y Ernesto Mora Rico, respectivamente; además de la directora de Cultura Municipal, Aleyda Andrés Ibarra-, continuará este miércoles 7 de agosto en el Centro Cultural y de Convenciones (CECUCO) y el auditorio del Instituto Tecnológico de San Juan del Río, donde se realizará el pago de los últimos 4 mil folios. La sede será de acuerdo al número de folio de las y los beneficiarios.
El esquema de apoyos educativos para este 2024 cuenta con un presupuesto de 60 millones de pesos para los 20 mil beneficiarios del programa, quienes reciben, cada uno, 3 mil pesos por cinco bimestres. En esta ocasión, la entrega de becas se realizó en dos etapas: En la primera, realizada en febrero, se dispersaron 36 millones de pesos para 20 mil beneficiarios, por lo que cada alumna y alumno recibió mil 800 pesos, equivalentes a tres bimestres; en esta segunda etapa, se dispersarán los 24 millones restantes para la misma cantidad de inscritos en el programa, en este sentido, cada estudiante recibirá mil 200 pesos, correspondientes a dos bimestres.
