Roberto Cabrera, presidente electo de San Juan del Río participó en la tradicional cabalgata en conmemoración del 490 aniversario de la fundación de la ciudad y en honor a las fiestas de San Juan Bautista.
Con la participación de jinetes de diversas localidades del municipio, se realizó la tradicional cabalgata que recorre las calles del Centro Histórico.
Cabrera Valencia recordó que gracias a la confianza ciudadana que se obtuvo en la pasada elección del 6 de junio, se tendrá un relanzamiento de las tradiciones y se dijo muy orgulloso de la celebración del 24 de junio, día de San Juan.
“Está tierra bendita cumple 490 años, hoy celebramos a nuestro santo patrono, San Juan del Río está de fiesta, ojalá ya vayamos de salida de esta pandemia, hoy se unió la familia de a caballo, estamos muy contentos y orgullos de nuestras tradiciones”.
Agregó que está cabalgata fue resultado de una invitación que recibió durante la campaña, y refrendó el compromiso de poner “Adelante” los valores que unen y dan identidad a esta gran tierra. Resaltó que con trabajo en equipo se realizarán los proyectos y propuestas que le den un nuevo rostro al municipio.
“San Juan es cuna de la gente de a caballo, hoy celebramos la vida, las tradiciones y costumbres, celebramos de la mejor manera con los grandes valores de la familia de a caballo”, finalizó.
