La tarde de este miércoles, diversos colectivos de ciclistas encabezaron una marcha para exigir el respeto a su forma de movilidad en la capital de Querétaro. Además de honrar a los tres ciclistas que fueron atropellados durante la última semana.
Dentro de lo que piden las y los ciclistas, se encuentra que la autoridad trabaje en la atención y fomento de la cultura vial mediante campañas, así como mejora en la infraestructura urbana para las bicicletas.
Asimismo, en redes sociales personas denunciaron que un ciclista, justo en la manifestación para exigir respeto hacia ellos, casi fue atropellado en un cruce.
Por su parte, el legislador Antonio Zapata Guerrero, presidente de la Comisión de Movilidad Sustentable en el Congreso local, expresó que es inadmisible que en Querétaro sigan ocurriendo decesos por accidentes viales.
“Como grupo parlamentario, estamos presentando la iniciativa de elevar a nivel constitucional la movilidad y seguridad vial, y eso nos tiene que llevar a esa ley reglamentaria que puede ser la ley de tránsito y seguridad vial con el concepto y esperemos que en los próximos 30 días tengamos noticias de la federación”, aseguró Zapata Guerrero.
