La Coordinación Municipal de Protección Civil en San Juan del Río, hace un llamado a los ciudadanos para que durante esta temporada de calor evite ingresar a bordos, presas, o cuerpos de agua, pues se corre el riesgo de muerte por ahogamiento.
Y es que en temporada de calor, muchas familias acostumbran reunirse en las inmediaciones de los cuerpos de agua para convivir, sin embargo, algunos se arriesgan a ingresar a nadar para refrescarse.
Esta actividad ha provocado la muerte personas que no respetan los espacios o llamados de la autoridad para evitar accidentes, por ello, es que hacen las siguientes recomendaciones:
• Evitar ingerir bebidas embriagantes en las inmediaciones de los cuerpos de agua.
• Por ningún motivo nadar en dichos espacios.
• En caso de que alguna persona caiga por accidente al agua, evitar ingresar y llamar de manera inmediata al 911.
La prevención es la principal herramienta para evitar tragedias, con trabajo en equipo, autoridades y ciudadanos, evitemos muertes por ahogamiento.
